Week 2


Last week, we discussed about the basic elements of play design. In basic elements of play design, we have something called the six elements. The six elements help have limitless play experiences. Those six elements are action, rules, goals, objects, play space. players. Video games are the same as any other media entertainment. We learned about purchase and experience games in quite similar ways to movies and music. In one of the readings, there was a man named Eric McMillan who  built playgrounds for educational purposes. Eric McMillan was a 29-year-old English immigrant who lived in Toronto Canada. His main job was to design exhibitions for a massive new waterfront called Ontario Place.
